Total Defense received the highest possible ranking (Advanced+) in the three-month long Real-World Protection test from independent test lab AV-Comparatives.
The test evaluates real-world protection capabilities of leading antivirus programs, representing the typical experience of your everyday PC use. The real-world protection test is one of the most robust out there, in terms of fully utilizing all protection features AV programs offer to prevent infection. The published results outline the performance of 16 antivirus programs from leading cybersecurity brands.
Highlights of the report:
- Total Defense showed an excellent performance. Blocking 700 of 703 test case samples. That’s a total detection rate of 99.6%.
- Total Defense is one of only 5 of the 16 participating antivirus programs to receive the highest Advanced+ three-star rating.
