Two Big Announcements Today from Total Defense

It’s been a very busy end of year here at Total Defense – we’ve been launching new products, expanding our cloud security network and even collecting a few industry awards.  Not content to end the year on those announcements alone, today we’ve made two major announcements that we’re incredibly proud of.

First – we were named a Major Player by top tier analyst firm IDC in their recent MarketScape for Worldwide Enterprise Messaging Security SaaS.  As you may have seen in our press release today, IDC stated: “This position reflects Total Defense’s pure cloud approach to messaging security, combined with cloud-based Web and endpoint security technologies, making the company a competitive choice for SMBs and midsize enterprises”.

As you can imagine, we’re very proud of this rating given to us by one of the industry’s most well respected analyst firms.  (IDC customers can access the full report here) It’s an unequivocal validation of the work we’ve done to provide unmatched cloud security solutions for our partners and customers.

That announcement is even more meaningful when you consider the other piece of news we released today.  Today we announced the launch of our new partner program, focused solely on Managed Service Providers, or MSPs as they are know in the industry.

MSPs play a significant part in helping small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) protect and maintain their networks. With cloud, virtualization and mobile completely erasing the network perimeter, the smallest security weakness could lead substantial business impact from loss of data, revenue and productivity.  Our new partner program was designed to allow our service provider partners to deliver unsurpassed protection for their customers and in the process generate an additional high margin revenue stream.

As evidenced by the IDC statement above, it’s clear that this is the perfect time to move forward with our focus on MSPs.  Our solutions are a natural fit for the very type of customer they are serving today.  We’re excited to begin working with MSPs across the globe.
