Total Defense Quadruples North American Antivirus Product Market Share
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Total Defense, Inc., the leading provider of solutions to combat the growing threat of cybercrime, today announced that its security products have made significant strides in market share according to a recent North American antivirus software report issued by OPSWAT. According to the report, Total Defense was the fastest growing paid Anti-Virus solution in North America, quadrupling its market share in just six months, outpacing the share of many of its competitors including McAfee, Trend Micro and Kaspersky.

The Quarterly OPSWAT market share report for June 2012 shows usage data for security applications on Windows systems. The data is collected using OPSWAT's AppRemover tool and indicates market share based on the applications installed on those computers that ran the tool.
